We’ve now reached the end of the stitching that was to be done on the Lizzie Wallet. All the pieces are completed, ready to get on with the finishing process!
The outside cover of the Lizzie Stitching Wallet is complete, with a pretty mirror effect!
We moved on to the two vertical borders which will be the “hinges” of the wallet. They’re a feast of special stitches and threads!
The first panel of the Lizzie stitching wallet is now complete – here are some great pictures of sections 1 & 2 together !!!!
The result is sufficiently similar that you can use one or the other regardless, but the method is quite different – which one has your vote? If you don’t care very much for French knots, try your hand at Colonial knots!
