Q & A

Why is the skill level 'Expert' when everything will be explained ?? Annemiek Mulderij asked on 3rd April 2023

Hi Annemiek 😊 Including explanations in a pattern doesn't mean that it's an easy pattern. It simply means that it is a lot easier to stitch than it would be if there weren't any explanations.
I'm a firm believer that no project it too difficult for anyone, and I go out of my way to include detailed explanations to make sure that anyone can understand how it's done, but it wouldn't be fair to pretend that all my projects are easy.
This one is marked expert level because we will be stitching it with variegated threads (and it's not straightforward to stitch with such threads without ending up with stripy lines everywhere), also one of the special stitches used is quite complex. I believe that my explanations bring intricate patterns and stitches to the level of almost any stitcher, but it's only fair to be upfront about the fact that the pattern is not an easy one to start with, particularly when you can't see it for yourself (being a mystery SAL)
If the question is will you be able to stitch it, I'm very confident that the answer is yes 😊

Can AIDA be used? Karen Daniel asked on 3rd April 2023

Hi Karen 😊 Yes, you can use aida for this project. There are a few fractional stitches in this pattern, but so few that it shouldn't cause any issues.
