  1. LaRheta (verified owner)

I do not feel like the finishing instructions were as helpful as they could have been. They don’t totally match the item in the pattern, so it is confusing and now I don’t really know how to complete the item. I see the finished item in a photo, but can’t envision how it is done. Very frustrating.

Update – the designer reached out in an attempt to make the instructions clearer. I have not tried these steps yet, but it seems they should work. Regardless, I appreciate the designer trying to assist. It means a lot.

Hi LaRheta – Thank you very much for your feedback. This design was first produced for a magazine, and it was model stitched and assembled in house by that magazine. I therefore do not have step-by-step photographs for it. I did consider dismantling the model to take photographs as I put it back together, but that would have damaged the design and made the photographs less than clear. That’s why I felt it was clearer to use photos from a different design, bearing in mind that it’s only the motifs and the colours that change – the assembling process and the instructions are exactly the same. I’m very sorry indeed that you’re disappointed with your purchase. It matters a great deal to me that my customers have a happy stitching experience with my designs. I have just sent you an email to discuss this further so that I can find a solution for you and improve the current tutorial. I’m always more than happy to help and offer further instructions if needed.
